Our Deepest Fear

Nelson Mandala has been a big source of inspiration in my life. I think you will benefit from the following quote..

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are empowered beyond measure.

It is our light and not our darkness that most frightens us.

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking.

So that others will not feel insecure around you.

We were each of us born to manifest the absolute Glory of God,

Which is within us all.

It is by letting our own light shine that we create the ability for

Others to do the same."

-Nelson Mandala

Take some time to actually think about this empowering thought, it will serve you well...

Jason

Hi, Jason~

That is, indeed, a profound and powerful quote! And one of my favorites. Certainly, words to live by.

For correctness' sake, it is not original to Nelson Mandela--he was quoting Marianne Williamson from her book A Return to Love (1992).

Mr. Mandela has great taste in literature!

I'm enjoying your blog.

Love and Joy,
